Last Updated: April 12, 2025
AP3 LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TasksCalendar.com app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:
Personal Information: When you authenticate with your Google account via OAuth, we collect your Google account ID, email address, and name.
Google Tasks and Calendar Data: We access your Google Tasks to provide the App’s services. For premium users, we also access your Google Calendar to sync your tasks.
Usage Data: We may collect details about how you interact with the App, such as the features you use and how often you use them.
Device Information: We may gather information about your device, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect your personal information when you sign in with your Google account using OAuth. We access your Google Tasks and, for premium users, your Google Calendar through Google’s APIs. Usage data and device information are collected automatically as you use the App.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information for these purposes:
Service Provision and Enhancement: Your data helps us provide, maintain, and improve the App’s services, such as exporting Google Tasks to the iCalendar format and, for premium users, syncing tasks with Google Calendar.
User Engagement: We may use your email address to contact you occasionally for surveys, feedback, or to learn about your interests and concerns, all to improve your experience and our services.
Service Personalization: We analyze usage data to understand how you use the App and tailor it to your preferences.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, if there’s a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or similar business event, your information may be transferred to the new entity. We use Google Firebase to deliver the App’s services, which involves sharing some data with Google. For more details, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information in these cases:
Service Providers: We may share data with third-party providers who help us run the App (e.g., hosting or analytics services). They’re required to protect your information and use it only as we direct.
Legal Obligations: We may share your information if required by law or in response to legal requests, like court orders or subpoenas.
Business Transactions: Your information may be transferred during a merger, acquisition, or similar event, as mentioned earlier.
Other than these cases, we don’t share your personal information with third parties.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, changes, or deletion. This includes using encryption, access controls, and other standard security measures. Since we use Google Firebase, your data also benefits from Google’s security practices. However, no online system is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute protection.
6. User Rights
You have these rights regarding your personal information:
Access and Correction: You can view or update your information, often through your Google account settings since that’s where we get it.
Deletion: To request deletion of your data from our systems, email us at support@taskscalendar.com. We’ll handle it per applicable laws.
Keep in mind that deleting your data might limit your ability to use some or all of the App’s features.
7. International Data Transfers
Since we use Google Firebase, your data may be sent to and processed in countries outside your own, like the United States, where data protection laws might differ. By using the App, you agree to these transfers.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App isn’t meant for anyone under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13, and if we find out we have, we’ll delete it quickly.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Please check back regularly to stay informed about how we manage your information.
